There is Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore, but wait till you see what I term, Resorts World Bintan. The whole Telok Sebong district in the north of Bintan is earmarked for resort developments. It is so important to the Bintan economy that there is a dedicated ferry terminal for the resorts and works are underway for an airport.
There are golf lodges (of world class stature) and resorts for all sorts of groups. It helps that the beaches are beautiful. There are so many resorts you have to try to decide which one you like. Most of these resorts are owned by Singaporean/ Singapore-based firms.
One of the top golf lodges in Asia is the Ria Bintan Golf Lodge.
